Ulrike Herrmann [ Germany ]

Ulrike Herrmann was born in 1964 in Hamburg. After completing her training as a bank clerk, she first of all attended the Henri Nannen School before going on to study philosophy and the history of economics at the FU Berlin. Following that she worked, among others, for the Körber Foundation. Since 2000, Herrmann has worked as an economics correspondent for the »taz« newspaper in Berlin and is a member of the board of the newspaper’s publishing cooperative. Her last book »Der Sieg des Kapitals« (tr. The Victory of Capital), a historical analysis of our economic system, was published in 2013.
