Christoph Rieger to be in the LUCHS jury from 2016

Christoph Rieger, head of the ilb-section International Children's and Young Adult Literature, will be a member of the LUCHS jury from January 2016. The prize for children's and young adult books is awarded monthly by DIE ZEIT and Radio Bremen. Furthermore, the jury chooses the LUCHS of the year from the twelve monthly winners. Brigitte Jakobeit, Maria Linsmann, Hartmut El Kurdi and Anja Robert are currently part of the jury. The jury is chaired by ZEIT editor Katrin Hörnlein.

Christoph Rieger has been the head of the young ilb-program since 2011.
Born in Potsdam in 1984, he studied theatre, film and media science, psychology and sociology in Frankfurt on the Main and Aberystwyth from 2004 to 2010. From 2005 to 2010, he worked at the Film and Cinema Office Hessen in Frankfurt. He has been a member of the Berlin Council for the Arts since 2014.
