Greg Gatenby is the founder and director, for the last twenty years, of the Harbourfront Festival of Literature in Toronto. He has supervised more than 4,000 authors and over 10,000 readings. He will discuss his many experiences, both good and bad, with ilb founder and director Ulrich Schreiber. Jointly, they will dwell on questions such as which programme structure is most adequate for a contemporary festival of literature, how one properly defines hospitality today, and what the ideal venue for such a festival would be.
Admission for this event is free.
