In her literary articles »German Morals,« journalist Gabriele Goettle examines the borders of acceptability in German society in old peoples’ homes, apartment blocks, sex shops and hedgehog sanctuaries. In this way, she reveals the atmosphere of everyday life in the early 1990s, and delivers, without commentary, a picture of a society in upheaval.
