The International Slam!Revue
Slam Poetry has in recent times given birth to new formats for poetry and text performance. Slam poets are writers, directors and actors in one. The International Slam!Revue presents five first class representatives of the genre from five different countries. Derrick C. Brown, Laurin Buser, Paula Varjack, Oskar Hanska and Lars Ruppel write for the stage. Meaning, rhythm, wordplay, tone and skill in performance characterise the works of these poets of the stage. People become recording devices, poets become walking anthologies. This poetry must be experienced live. The Festsaal Kreuzberg provides a fitting club ambience with a bar and DJ. The evening will be presented by Bas Böttcher and Wolf Hogekamp.
