Boualem Sansal Algeria and his historical quest in »The German's Village«
The winner of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade in 2011, Boualem Sansal, presents his new novel, which is about the involvement of a former Nazi in the Front Libération Nationale during the Algerian civil war and the consequences of war on a village. Afterwards there will be a discussion with Wolfgang Herles, director of the ZDF literature department, about his literary work and recent developments in the Arab world.
