Four eminent writers discuss their works, looking into their origins and inspirations: David Mitchell’s “The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet”, Kiran Nagarkar’s “Ravan and Eddie”, Kyung-sook Shin’s “Please Look After Mom”, and Ngugi wa Thiong’o’s, “Wizard of the Crow”. The shared thread running through this fiction revue is the clash of civilisations - of national cultures, religions, and generations. After the revue, the authors will individually present extensive passages from their novels.
