Tina Engel

Tina Engel, born in Hanover in 1950, earned a degree in acting from the Academy for Music and Theatre in Hanover. She was member of the Berliner Schaubühne from 1976 to 1999 and was later part of the Residenztheater in Munich and the Zurich Schauspielhaus among others. She has also worked as a director since 2001 in Stuttgart, Zürich and Berlin's Renaissance Theatre. Tina Engel is likewise known for her many television and film productions, among them »The Tin Drum«. She works as a freelance lecturer at the Ernst Busch Academy for Drama and lives in Berlin.
