Tamara Stern

Tamara Stern was born in Berlin and grew up in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, where she received a degree in Acting and performed for several years as part of the renowned ensemble of the Gesher Theater/Israel. In 2000 she received the Israeli theatre prize for up-and-coming actress. She has been back in Berlin since 2003 and has performed, among other things, this past summer as Pirate Jenny in Dominique Horwitz's production of the Threepenny Opera. Tamara Stern has been reading for the international literature festival berlin since its first year.
