Joe Hurley [ USA ]
Biography
is considered by the »Village Voice« to be one of the most entertaining front men around, with one of the saddest baritone voices. It is no wonder then that the New Yorker and his bands, Rogue's March and Joe Hurley & The Gents, have impressed audiences at over 1,000 shows in the USA and abroad with their poetic lyrics and diverse mixture of rock 'n roll, country, punk and pop seasoned with Irish folk. The fact that he is now setting Irish author Colum McCann's texts to music absolutely suits his ragged, melancholy tone.
