born 1956 in Ulm, he was appointed as master student at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin in 1988 and received a DAAD scholarship for the Netherlands. His work was funded with other scholarships, including the Karl Hofer scholarship, the »Ecce homo« scholarship as well as a work scholarship from Künstlerhaus Lukas. Since 1986 he has had numerous solo exhibitions and participated in symposia. In 2000 he completed figurines for the St. Klara Church in Ulm.
