Biography

was born in Siegen, Germany in 1974 and studied Graphic Design at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin. After working as art director for the advertising agency Gruppe 96, he became a freelance photo designer in 1975. From 1994-97 he was guest professor at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Braunschweig. In 2010 his exhibition »Waldfahnen« was featured at Schloss Hadenberg near Berlin. Klappert lives in Berlin.
