born 1973 in Vechta, he studied Fine Arts in Bremen and Berlin until 2002, graduating as Meisterschüler of Georg Baselitz. Afterwards he studied Anatomy at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. His works have been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries, such as the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the Medizinhistorisches Museum der Charité in Berlin and the Pratt Institute in New York.
