was born in Großröhrsdorf (Lausitz) in 1966. He has been publishing poems, essays and literary criticism in literary magazines, anthologies and newspapers since 1990. His poems have been translated into English, French, Czech, Polish, Arabic and other languages. In 2003, he published the collection of poems »Postkarte für Nofretete« (t: Postcards for Nefertiti) and, in 2007, was awarded a Lessing Sponsorship Prize. Sielaff lives and works as a cultural journalist and poet in Dresden.
