Richard David Precht was born in Solingen in 1964. He studied philosophy, German studies and art history in Cologne and graduated in 1994 with a study of Robert Musil's »The Man Without Qualities«. He worked for German magazines, newspapers and radio. His greatest success as an author has been the 2008 »Who Am I, And If Yes, Then How Many?«, one of the year's best-selling non-fiction books in Germany. In his new book »Liebe.
