Jürgen Roth was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1945. Since the 1970s, he has made a name for himself as an investigative journalist and produced numerous television documentaries and books on the subject of organized crime. His work has focused on Eastern Europe, Germany and international terrorism in particular. In 2009, he published the highly informative, outspoken book »Mafialand Deutschland« (t: Germany: Mafia Country). The author lives in Frankfurt am Main.
