Mario Calabresi, born in Milan in 1970, studied history and journalism. He worked as a parliamentary correspondent for the ANSA news agency and the Rome-based daily newspaper »La Stampa«. Today he works as a correspondent for the daily »La Repubblica« in New York. »Spingendo la notte più in là«, the story of his family »in the shadow of terrorism«, is a bestseller in Italy and has been published in many languages.
