Jörg Albrecht [ Germany ]

Jörg Albrecht was born in Bonn in 1981 and studied comparative literature, history and dramatics in Vienna and Bochum. He has published prose in anthologies and magazines, written a libretto for the Staatsoper Hannover, and won awards at literature festivals, including the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin’s Open Mike. In 2006 his first novel, »Drei Herzen« (t: Three hearts), was published, and in 2008 »Sternstaub, Goldfunk, Silberstreif« (t: Stardust, gold spark, silver stripe) followed. His band »phonofix« performs concert-readings and (short) audio plays. Albrecht lives in Berlin.
