Friends and Sponsors of the international literature festival berlin
In 1999 a group of culturally interested and committed people founded the society “Friends and Sponsors of the international literature festival berlin.” Since then the members of the society have actively supported the continuation and further consolidation of the festival. The financial support which the festival receives from public funds can be used only for a limited number of projects. As a result there is always a need for financial support covering the period of time before and after the festival. Through their annual subscription and donations, the members of the society guarantee the long-term continuation of the festival’s work and its presence on the cultural scene. The society and its members act as the voices which voluntarily promote the festival and present it to the public. With their initiative and support, members help to make the festival a memorable and wonderful experience for everyone interested in culture. Your membership gives you the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of the international literature scene and to attend some of the festival's most exclusive events.

- Free readings in your school
- Members have the opportunity to receive preferential treatment for bookings for events pertaining to the section “International Children’s- and Youth Literature"
