Guest of the ilb 2005
Roland Stelter was born in Berlin in 1953. He studied Sociology in Berlin and works as a painter, sculptor photographer, and writer. Stelter’s literary debut, 'Leons Bruder. Roman einer Zeitwende' (2005), tells the life story of an artist – travelling restlessly between America, Germany, France and Russia – and depicts the second half of the Twentieth Century through a complex historical panorama.
