Chloe Aridjis

Chloe Aridjis was born in New York in 1971, grew up in Holland and Mexico City. She studied Comparative Literature at Harvard and then received a PhD from the University of Oxford. Her book of essays on »Magic and Poetry in Nineteenth-century France« came out in 2005. She has published in magazines and newspapers in England and Mexico and currently resides in Berlin, where she is working on a collection of short stories and a novel.
