Guest of the ilb 2005
Eberhard Rathgeb was born in 1959, he is literary editor of the »Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung«. In 2003 he published – with Norbert Niemann – the anthology »Inventur«, a collection of important texts of the German-language literature from the previous 50 years. His latest publication »Die engagierte Nation« (2005; t: The dedicated nation) is a volume about the German culture of debate that features German political controversies from the last six decades.
