Guest of the ilb 2007
Anna Aguilar-Amat was born in
Barcelona in 1962. Among her published writings are four volumes of
poetry and a book of essays. As president of »QUARKpoesía« she is
involved in translating poetry from under-represented linguistic
groups. She has also founded the publishing house »Refraccions« that
publishes multilingual volumes of poetry. She is currently teaching
Terminology at the Faculty of Translation at the University Autònoma in
Barcelona.
