Stanley Lubman
studied History and Law in the USA and Hong Kong. He taught at various
universities, among them Harvard, Heidelberg and London, and worked as
a lawyer in San Francisco. He has been an advisor to the Asia
Foundation on China legal projects since 1998. The projects on which he
has concentrated are principally related to administrative law reform.
The author of »Bird in a Cage: Legal Reform in China after Mao« is
currently teaching at the University of California (Berkeley).
